Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Novotech Alliance for Design and Custom Software W.L.L., Commercial Registration 226267, Doha, Qatar, the provider of NovoDine (including NovoDine Stay for hotels). By using the service you accept them and the Privacy Policy at /privacy.

The service

NovoDine is a service for restaurants and hotels: guests order from the QR code on the table or in the room, then pay and split the bill on their phone, and the venue's team follows orders, the kitchen and payments from a dashboard.

For guests

  • You don't need an account. The food, service and prices are the restaurant's or hotel's responsibility; the venue is the seller.
  • You pay the venue through a payment provider (Stripe or Tap Payments). For a refund or a complaint about your order, contact the venue's team.
  • If you gave your number for order updates by WhatsApp or SMS, reply STOP or «إيقاف» to stop them and any offers.

For restaurants and hotels

  • You must be a licensed business and keep your account details accurate. You are responsible for your account and for the staff you give access.
  • You are the seller to the guest: your menu, prices, taxes and refunds are your responsibility.
  • Fees are as agreed with us in writing. The terms of the payment provider you connect also apply.
  • When you connect your own WhatsApp number through NovoDine it stays yours; you follow WhatsApp's (Meta's) messaging policies and send offers only to guests who agreed to them.
  • You are responsible for your guests' information; we process it on your behalf and only on your instructions, as the Privacy Policy explains.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for anything unlawful, offensive or misleading, and do not try to disrupt it or reach other people's data. We may suspend any account in case of misuse.

Ownership

Your content (menu, photos, text) stays yours; you allow us to use it only to provide the service to you. The software and the NovoDine brand remain ours or our licensors'.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but it also depends on others (such as payment providers, WhatsApp and networks), and we do not guarantee it will run without interruption. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our liability to a venue is limited to what it paid us in the previous three months.

Ending

A venue can stop using the service as agreed with us. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Doha have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes and contact
